He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Whitaker; his son Donald Ragsdale of Burlington, NC; his stepson Bernard Lyons of Tarboro, NC; his daughter Latasha Casey of Upper Marlboro, MD; his stepdaughters, Contrina Suggs of Tarboro, NC and Mya Lyons of Tarboro, NC; and his sisters, Rosa Blount of Tarboro, NC, Joann Blackett of Rocky Mount, NC, Mamie Blossom of Rocky Mount, NC and Sarah Battle of Rocky Mount, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
