He is survived by: his children, Anita Catherine Turlington and David Fred Turlington (Robin); his sister Anne Turlington Lay of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Cee Cee Huffman, Laura Ellen Turlington, Anna Catherine Turlington and Walter Turlington Huffman.
