Fay Heath Harrell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fay Heath Harrell (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Terence Leroy Heath and Cynthia Ruth Mendenhall Heath; her husband Melvin Odell Harrell of Oak City; and her siblings, Leroy, Russell, Clyde, Eric, Garland, A. T., Neva, Thelma and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her sons, Melvin Jeffry, Russell Heath and Robert Terence; her grandchildren, Russ (Lori), Sammy (Lindy), Kenan and Finley Harrell; and her great grandchildren, Eliza, Jones, Brooklyn, Heath and Levi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak City Baptist Church (109 W 2nd St, Oak City, NC 27857). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oak City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oak City Baptist Church or Hospice of North Carolina.
