She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Mears of Tarboro and Jean Suggs of Roanoke Rapids; her grandchildren, Christian Shane Suggs and Amber Nicole Johnson (Mark); her great grandchild Anthony Johnson; and her niece Cathy Etheridge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
