It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Havard (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Cape Charles, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emily McDowell Neal Waddell and James Gordon Waddell; her son McDowell "Mac" Havard (Diane Bourne Havard) of Gulfport; her grandchild Dr. Drew Havard (Megan Robl Havard) of San Antonio; her daughter Emily "Bitsy" Havard Smith (Garnett Smith) of Naples; her grandson Harrison Smith (Meghan Quinn Smith); and also, Kitt and Drew Smith of Atlanta, Georgia..
