He is survived by: his wife Dora Faye Powell; his sons, Keith Raynard Powell and Randall Jones (Carla); his goddaughter Helen Glover; and his siblings, Alton R. Powell Rocky Mount (Glenda), Paul T. Powell Rocky Mount (Vivian) and Eva Lewis.
