She is survived by: her children, Susan Cross Ainsley (Charles) of Tarboro and Carl Wayne Cross Jr. (Sherry) of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Carla Ainsley Fleming (Brendan) of Greenville, Lauren Ainsley Gregory (Chris) of Falkland, Taylor Ainsley (Emily) of Falkland, Kelsey Cross Wilson (Dan) of Scotland Neck and Erin Cross Hopkins (Ryan) of Oak City; and her sister Carol O'Neal Heath (Ronnie) of Tarboro. She is also survived by nine loving great-grandchildren.
