She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Thomas and Ida Norville Lewis; and her sisters, Allene Lewis Braddy, Frances Weathersbee and Ethel Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Lee White (Paul) of Bath and Skeet Lee of Tarboro; her siblings, Lynda Smith (Ronald) of Dunbar and Charlie Lewis (Miriam) of Tarboro; her cousin Ellen Gurganus of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Emily Daughety (Caine) of Ayden, Caylon Thomas White of Los Angeles, CA, Savanna White of Greenville, Christopher Lee of Greenville, William Whichard of Hobgood and Grant Lee of Tarboro; and her great grandchildren, Judah and Elias "Eli" Daughety. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
