With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Courtney Harrison Melford of Tarboro, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Wilburn Harrison. She is survived by: her mother Jacalyn Davis Harrison of Tarboro, NC; her husband Sheldon Melford of Brooklyn, N. Y.; her children, James E. McClary-Stackhouse of Piscataway, NJ, Jacalyn V. Russ of Albany, NY and Desiree D. McClary of Tarboro, NC; and her brother Wilburn F. Harrison III. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
