It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Whitehead of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Allen Whitehead. She is survived by: her children, Oscar Whitehead of Fayetteville, NC, Bruce Whitehead of Zebulon, NC and Bettie Whitehead; and her sister Rachel Whitehead of Tarboro, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
