She is survived by: her husband Durwood Jeffries; her children, Felicia Jeffries Roebuck (Richard) of Tarboro and Bernie Jeffries (Teresa) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Samuel Eason, Jr., Thomas Eason and Paige Jeffries Smith (Charlie); her great grandchild Mason Smith; and her sisters, Barbara Webb of South Carolina and Miriam Lewis of Tarboro.
