It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Barnes Sharpe (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Wallace Barnes. She is survived by: her husband John L. Sharpe; her children, John A. Sharpe of Rolesville, NC, Monta Dickens of Tarboro, NC and Tara Lloyd of Tarboro, NC; and her sister Gloria Holmes of Fort Washington, MD. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
