She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Stokes and Ruby Mills Stokes; her sister Barbara Stokes Williams; and her brother-in-law Willie Williams. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Stancil of Macclesfield and Laura Stancil of Tarboro; and her siblings, Jimmy Stokes (Ruth) and Elaine Dixon (Mack) of Greenville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
