She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Elks and Mary Elks; and her husband James Edward Whitley. She is survived by: her children, Dinah Jackson, Steve Whitley and Ronnie Whitley; her grandchildren, Christy Whitley, Kelly Carraway, Tracy Whitley and Harley Lewis; her great grandchildren, Eli Nava, Hannahlin Nava, Lila Hernandez, Jalie Horton, Tyler Carraway, Taylor Carraway, Levi Lewis and Liam Lewis; and her sister Leona Harrell.
