It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Dickens (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Killebrew and Velma Battle. She is survived by: her daughter Penny Cooper of Tarboro, NC; her stepson Leroy Howard of Tarboro, NC; and her sisters, Louise Latham of Tarboro, NC and Dorothy Bullock of Tarboro, NC. She is also survived by two grandchildren, one great grandchild and other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Dancy Memorial Cemetery with Words of Comfort by Reverend Walter Adkins, Jr. Due to Covid-19, we are asking everyone that is planning to attend these services or visiting Hemby-Willoughby Funeral Home, it is mandatory that you wear a mask and perform social distancing.
