She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabell Walker and William Henry Walker; and her grandchild Kelly Michelle. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Deal; her children, Stephanie Roberts (Chris) of Macclesfield, Kathy Webb (Timmy) of Pinetops and Creig Deal (Donna) of Temperance Hall; her siblings, Peggy Whitehurst and William Archie Walker of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Jacob Griffin (Katie) of San Diego, Jordan Sturgill (Pierce) of Greenville, Taylor Case (Corey) of Jacksonville and Megan Deal of Temperance Hall; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Griffin of San Diego and Griffin Sturgill of Greenville.
