She was predeceased by: her father Wiliam Lee Harper. She is survived by: her children, Tareke Harper of Tarboro, NC, Carolyn Brown of Tarboro, NC, Eve Harper of Bronx, NY, Gloria Knight of Tarboro, NC and Laveda Holliman Lawrence. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
