He is survived by: his wife Mary Dickens; his children, Barrett Pettaway, Malcom Dickens, Jessica Pettaway and Jasmine Dickens; and his siblings, Wayne McDowell of Lawrence, NC, Isaiah Dickens of Rocky Mount, NC, Gwendolyn White of Tarboro, NC, Catherine Dickens of Tarboro, NC, Carolyn Johnson of Lawrence, NC and Maye T. Dickens of Lawrence, NC. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
