Ann Webb Ipock Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann Webb Ipock of Tarboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Webb and Annie Dunn Webb; her sisters, Aldine Webb Flynn and Geraldine Webb Gardner; and her niece Libby Flynn Snow.

She is survived by: her husband Carlton Ipock; her stepchildren, Adam Ipock (Cathy), Laura Barrouk (Chuck) and Claude Ipock (Gayle); her grandchildren, Nicholas Ipock, Christopher Ipock (Alaina Wheeler), Bryce Barrouk, Griffin Barrouk, Rachel Ipock, Hayley Ipock and Austin Ipock; her niece Teri Harrison (Wilson); and her nephews, Woody Gardner (Susan) and Chuck Flynn (Lisa). She is also survived by great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews, extended family members, and close friends.

She has been selected to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at UNC Pembroke (Class of 2024) for her contributions to the women's athletic department where she served as coach for both the women's basketball and tennis teams.
