With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Armstrong Jr. of Tarboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alvin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alvin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin E. Armstrong and Virginia Mobley Armstrong; and his brother-in-law Gerald Ward. He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda A. Ward of Tarboro and Crystal Whitfield (Howard) of Tarboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
