It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Joyner Smith of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jasper Linwood Joyner. She is survived by: her sons, Harvey L. Smith of Greensboro, NC and Alvin J. Smith of Lanham, MD; and her siblings, Sylvester "Jack" Joyner of Fayetteville, NC, William Battle of Upper Marlboro, MD and Evelyn J. Reeves of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19, we are asking everyone that is planning to attend these services or visit Hemby-Willoughby Funeral Homes; it is mandatory that you wear a mask and perform social distancing.
