She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Robert Carpenter; her parents, Alfred Jasper Boswell and Ida Ruth Davis; and her son George Alfred Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughter Ellen C. Baker (Linwood Ray Baker); and her siblings, Betty Cope and Alfred Boswell Jr. (Vivian).
