It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Evander Devone of Tar Heel, North Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Devane and Myrtle Long Devane; his siblings, James Devane, Betty Barnes, Mickey Morgan and Nancy Wright; and his grandson Jonathan Prescott.
He is survived by: his children, Richard K. Devane (Cynthia) of Bladenboro and Melanie Prescott of Tar Heel; his sister Sarah Winkler (Marty) of Raeford; his grandsons, William Baker, Heath Devane and Aaron Prescott; and his great grandchildren, Connor Prescott, Greyson Prescott, Harper, Cora Prescott, Kylie, Colin and Jenna Baker.
