She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Lindsey Collins and George Collins Jr.; her stepfather Paul Frease; her brother Lindsay Collins; and her nephew Tilman McLellan.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Atlas McVicker; her sons, Philip Anthony Collins (Tammi) and James Atlas McVicker Jr. (Kate); her siblings, Martha Andrews (Danny), Faye Grimes (Stuart) and Michael Collins (Karen); her grandchildren, Scott Collins (Deidre), Mary C. Orr (Brandon), Abigail Collins and James McVicker; and her great grandchildren, Jace, River and Brantley.
