We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2020, at the age of 58, John Hess Jr. (Tar Heel, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Hess; his sister Joyce Britt; and his stepfather John Oliver Hunt. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Hunt of Tar Heel; his children, John Hess III (Samantha) of White Oak, Margalene Pait (Richard) of Elizabethtown and Karen Hess (Lee Hyatt) of Robbins; his siblings, Charles Hess (Becky), Don Hunt (Janet), Daran Hunt (Teresa), Leon Hunt (Shellena), Cuzman Hunt, Velton Hunt (Heather), Lillie Vanover (Randy), Mary Ann Hess, Sara Hunt, Polly Peterson (Robbie) and Marylene Oxendine (Terry); and his grandchildren, Emily Pait, Molly Pait, Eli Deaver and Curtis Hyatt.
