It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gibson of Tar Heel, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Gibson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Willis Asberry Hayes, Elizabeth Jackson Baddorff, Elizabeth Jane Baker and Robert Henry Gibson; his aunt Janet E. Callihan; and his uncle Thomas "Tommy" E. Priest.
He is survived by: his parents, Van Gibson of Raeford and Jenny Hayes Carroll; his sisters, Beth Gibson Peedin (Jeff) of Smithfield, Kelly Maria Lewis (Cameron) of Bladenboro and Brittany Gause of Bladenboro; and his nieces and nephews, Jillian Peedin, Anna Lewis, Santana Taylor, Noah Lewis, Stephen Lewis and Bryson Allen.
