He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lawrence Prevatte and Aleene Blount Prevatte; and his brother Jasper Prevatte. He is survived by: his wife Margerite Bethune Prevatte; his son Christopher Adam Prevatte; and his stepchildren, Bryan Bethune (Nichole Bergeron) of Gainesville, GA, Brandi Anderson (Trey) of Knightsdale, NC, Katrina Anderson of Lumberton, NC and Tara Barth of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
