He is survived by: his daughter Mary Beth Felty of Hernando Mississippi; his stepdaughter Angel Jones of Tarheel, NC; his siblings, Carolyn Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Glenda Johnson (Richard) of Tar Heel, NC and Ray Barnes of Tar Heel, NC; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Tony, Ryan, Robert and Brandon. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Homegoing Celebration: Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at New Life Church, 3990 Fayetteville Rd., Lumberton, NC 28358, In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations in remembrance of Jerry Barnes be made to the Angel House Hospice Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail Rd., Whiteville, NC 28472.
