Gurney Allen Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2020, at the age of 63, Gurney Allen Jr. of Tar Heel, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurney Fletcher Allen Sr. and Doris Ann Beard Allen; and his son Jonathan "Luke" Allen. He is survived by: his wife Pegi Bryant Allen; his children, Gurney Fletcher Allen III, Lindsay Townsend of Tar Heel and Nicole Lane Allen of Tar Heel; his siblings, Jeff Allen (Teresa) of Dublin, Mark Allen (Teal) of Tar Heel and Jill Allen of Sunset Beach; and his grandchildren, Chloe Allen and Colton Allen.

All attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
