She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Garner and Margaret Carroll Garner; and her siblings, Lendra Dove, Carolyn Garner and Larry Garner.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Barnes; her children, Edward Lewis Barnes of Tar Heel and Betty Rae Warren (John) of League City, TX; and her brother Randy Garner (Sandra) of Tar Heel.
