He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Conner and Janie Conner; and his sisters, Inez Stephens, Bessie Anderson and Mae Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Connor; and his daughters, Teresa Allen (Jeff) of Tar Heel, Crystal Dunn (Michael) of Tar Heel and Bonita Britt (Arthur) of Orrum. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
