He is survived by: his children, Kathy Gerald Stocks (Mark) of Tabor City, NC and Russell Gerald (Melody) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Emily Tomasik (Tyler) of Chapel Hill, NC, Mary Olivia Gerald of Raleigh, NC and Grayson Stocks of Raleigh, NC; and his great grandchildren, Shepherd Hayes Tomasik and Addison Vera Tomasik.
