He is survived by: his wife Rosa Nell Cartrette; his children, William Cartrette (Beth) of Garner, NC, Diane Watts (Ronny) of Tabor City, Gwen Hill (Dyrell) of Tabor City and Phyllis Lanier (Timmy) of Tabor City; his siblings, Larry Cartrette (Annette) of Tabor City, Robert Cartrette (Debbie) of Tabor City, Tommy Cartrette (Angie) of Tabor City, David Cartrette (Nadine) of Tabor City, Rebecca Duncan (Van) of Loris, Barbara Inman (Allen) of Tabor City and Fannie Watts of Tabor City; and his grandchildren, Andreau, Natasha, Kirk, Zack, Ada, Lauren and Ashlynn. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
