She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Tyree and Thelma Touchston Tyree; her daughter Kay Yohn; and her brothers, Mickey Tyree, Wayne Tyree and Wilson Tyree.
She is survived by: her husband Cody Donald Smith of Tabor City, NC; and her children, Kristal Brown of Tabor City, NC, Phyllis Miller of Lucedale, MS and Stephen Yohn of Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
