He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Cliff Spivey and Ruby H. Spivey; and his siblings, Doris Gay, Faye Rozier, Barbara Spivey (Donald), Jimmy Spivey (Betty Jo) and Donald Spivey (Linda).
He is survived by: his brother Billy Spivey (Daphine) of Spartanburg, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
