It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Wayne Suggs (Tabor City, North Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Palmer Suggs Sr. and Mazie Lea Suggs; his wife Debra W. Suggs; and his siblings, Lillian Buerger, Otis Suggs, Verniece Shaw, Carolyn Smith, Elouise Payne and Hilda Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Wayne Suggs II, Subrina Suggs Nettles (Chad) and Derrick Wayne Suggs (Lisa); his siblings, Lou Floy Harrelson, Lacy Palmer Suggs Jr., Robert Suggs and Maggie Lundy; his grandchildren, Kristin Owens (Jonathon), Thomas E. Suggs, Lance Simmons, Zackery Pratt and Denim Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Porter Owens, Finley Owens and Declan Owens.
