Sara Alice Smallwood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Alice Smallwood of Tabor City, North Carolina, born in Cordova, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foide Davis and Emmie Eldis Mills Davis; her husband Bobby Smallwood; and her siblings, Earl Jackson Davis, Jimmy Ernest Davis and Hester Maxine Spivey.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Bryan Smallwood of Tabor City and Candice Marie Russell of Tabor City; and her niece Glenda Kay Giroux of Clarendon, NC. She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Myrtle Green Cemetery (11319 Old Stake Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463).
