She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Woodrow Ray and Ester Ward Ray; and her husband Jerry Dale Hodges. She is survived by: her children, Darryle Gene Hodges (Sabrina) of Reidville, SC, Michelle Espinoza (Jesus) of Clarendon, NC and Brian Hodges (Brandy) of Easley, SC.; her brother Ervin Woodrow Ray of Prince George, VA; her grandchildren, Blake, Kassidy, Jesse, Ashleigh, Megan, Kevin and Taylor; and her great grandchild Paul Dibert.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Myrtle Green Cemetery (11319 Old Stake Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463).
