She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Jenkins and Marlene Williamson Jenkins; her siblings, Jerry Wayne Jenkins, James Jenkins and Vickie Faye Jenkins; her stepfather Norlie Meares; and her daughter-in-law Melissa Hopkins.
She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Dale Grainger; her children, Jeffrey Hopkins (Heather) of Dillon, SC, Jack Hopkins, Jr. of Dillon, SC and Angela Lynn Hopkins of Tabor City, NC; and her siblings, Terry Jenkins of Latta, SC and Rhonda Johnson of Dillon, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Holiness Church, 310 N. Wall Street, Tabor City, NC 28463.
