He is survived by: his wife Shawn Rhodes of Loris; his children, Cora Mogyoros of Loris, SC, Tyana Soles of Denver, CO, Shannon Marlowe of Tabor City, NC, Joseph Mark Rhodes Jr. of Loris and Wade Soles (Cheyenne) of Tabor City; his siblings, Larry Rhodes (Kathy) of Marion, NC, Cecil Blackburn (Crystal) of Crusoe Island, NC, Frances Baldwin of Little River, SC, Naomi Cartrette (Larry) of Clarendon, NC and Linda Barton (Glenn) of Pembroke, NC; and his sister-in-law Michele Aldridge. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
