He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gary McMillan, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Spivey McMillan (Beth); his son Mark McMillan; and his stepfather William Bruton (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Rev. John Gary McMillan, III (Faye) of Garland, NC, Roger McMillan (Wendy) of Clarendon, NC and Tammy Demattio (Dean); and his grandchildren, Jonathan McMillan, Kristen Robinson, Tiffany Huggins, Matthew Huggins and Frankee-Dayle Hardee. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
