He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie O'Steen Scott and Stella Watts Scott; and his siblings, George, Lee, Joe, Jerry, Ella Jane Scott and Irene Ward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Lynn Register of Whiteville, NC and Delores Anne Strickland (Steven) of Sumter, SC; his grandsons, Austin Blake Register (Savanne) of Whiteville, NC and Justin Guy Register of Whiteville, NC; his great grandchild Madalyn Elizabeth Register; and his siblings, Keith Scott and Myrtle Powers.
