He is survived by: his wife Shirley Norris Burroughs; his children, Homer Eugene Burroughs, Jr. of Tabor City, NC and Julia B. Lockhead (John) of Durham, NC; and his grandchildren, Tanner Lockhead of Washington, DC. and Holly Lockhead of Washington, DC..
