It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Rae Norris of Tabor City, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Paul Mills and Doris Lee Stephens Mills; her husband Mack Vernon "Bill" Norris; her siblings, Larry Mills, Tony Mills, Melba Watts, Barbara Grainger and Clara Mills; and her grandsons, Coby Dean Norris and Clayton Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry McPherson (Mike) of Tabor City, NC and Billy Dean Norris (Sarah) of Tabor City, NC; her grandchildren, Michelle Lupo, Cassadee Norris and Emily Norris; her great grandchildren, Bethany Lupo, Logan Norris and Katlyn Cartrette; and her sister Nancy Turner of Conway, SC..
