He is survived by: his daughters, Kandy Ashley (Bud) of Leland, NC and Terri Scott (Marty) of Fuquay Varina, NC; his brother Elwood Benton of Nakina, NC; his nephews, Randy Reaves and Larry Fowler; and his niece Gloria Fowler. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
