She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Oscar Boswell and Carrie Sikes Boswell; her husband Vernon Allen; her daughter Verna Dean Quest; and her siblings, Myrtice Buffkin, Gladys Wright, Joesph Alton Boswell and H. C. Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Allen (Melinda) of Loris, SC and Heather Dawn Faulk of Nakina, NC; and her grandchildren, Quenton Stanley (Katie Payne), Bradley Allen, Brent Allen (Jada), Michael Bullock (Amey), Johanna Gore, Graylen Faulk and Garryn Faulk. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Spivey Cemetery (2825 Will Inman Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463).
