He is survived by: his wife Shirley Faulk Hendrix; his daughter Kia Hendrix Countess (Jon) of Walhalla, SC; his brother Randy Hendrix (Sheila) of Tabor City, NC; and his grandsons, Jon Rix Countess and Robert Joel "RJ" Countess.
