She was predeceased by: her parents, Gardner Odell Suggs and Scottie Mae Milligan Suggs; her husband D. L. Ganus; her children, Randy Ganus and Terry Ganus; her grandson Dan Ganus; and her siblings, Palmer Odell Suggs and Harold Linwood Suggs.
She is survived by: her children, Renita Ganus Whaley (Ben) of Nakina and Chris Ganus of Nakina; her sister Juanita Russ of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Nathan Whaley (Crystal), Tera Worley (Chris), Rachel Boren (Chris), Stacy Ganus, Melissa Whaley and Charity Cartrette (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Madison Whaley, Jacob Whaley, Emily Worley, Lacey Worley, Brady Worley, Jackson Boren, Harper Boren, Andrew Ward and Eden Cartrette.
