He is survived by: his children-in-law, Melissa Butler of Columbia, SC and Rondal Mims of Effingham; his grandchildren, Rondal "RJ" Mims, Jr. (Megan), Timothy Mims (Heather), Ann Claire Butler (Robert), Mary Emma Butler (Antonio) and Laura Helm; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Mims, Hudson Helm, Everleigh Helm and Mary Jackson Cousar.
