With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Franklin Butler of Tabor City, North Carolina, born in Obion, Tennessee, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley C. Butler and Elizabeth Butler (Brown); his granddaughter Ashley; his great grandchild Aaron; his sisters, Louise, Mary Ellen and Zora Mae; and his close friend Gertrude.
He is survived by: his spouse Britty A. Butler; his children, Stephanie Bunch of Woodland Mills, TN, Tammy Williams (Ricky) of Michie, TN, Butch Butler (Glenda) of Union City, TN and Nicky Fowler (Angela) of Tabor City, NC.; his grandchildren, Drew, Eric, Brandon, Shannon, Bethany, Laykon, Logan, Owen and Emma; and his brothers, J. D., Paul, Richard, Jack and L. D.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in-law.
